Splash into Pre-K is an integrated, child-centered curriculum designed for 4-year-olds in English and Spanish, focusing on school readiness through hands-on learning, literacy, and math.
It offers a comprehensive approach to developing early learning skills for kindergarten in a fun, engaging way.

Effective instruction begins with emotional safety. Children learn more and teachers teach more effectively when daily routines include time and tools to develop relationships, self-regulation, and peer connection. This foundation creates the conditions where academic learning can flourish.

On or around Flag day our center practices patriotic and fun chapel songs to sing. We decorate and make props to march around the block. Our annual stop at the Nursing home to sing to the residents is such a community builder!
All families are invited to come and participate.

Our Harvest Dinner happens slightly prior to Thanksgiving during the school day. We put all of the tables of the upstairs classrooms in the hall, decorate and contribute to make a wonderful Harvest Lunch. Families are invited to come and watch us celebrate together.

Our Christmas Program is a highlight of our center. The first Friday of December we invite all of our families to come out and watch our program. We prepare and have a fun night for all ages two and up. Each classroom gets on stage and sings fun Christmas songs.
Enjoy refreshments and the children's artwork on display afterwards!

For Prek, at the end of the school year (Second to last Friday in June) we hold a graduation ceremony to mark a year completed. The children wear caps and gowns and sit on stages. We have a slide show, prepared songs and give out diplomas. We also celebrate with a luncheon and cake afterward.
